Fun volume of songs from a groovy movie, arranged for mandolin. Null too challenging; many of the songs, like I'll Wing Abroad, are keen practice for double stops.

Advanced - tough going for a beginner, but part'southward of most songs are ok, and can be learned in curt order. Very well put together.

  • 2007-10-05 00:00:00.0 This is my Second copy of this book

I'one thousand eagerly awaiting the arrival of my second copy of "Selections from O Brother, Where Art K?" from Sheet Music Plus. My first one disappeared from my luggage while I was on an airline flight last calendar week. Must be some musically inclined TSA agents. . . . Anyhow, I'chiliad only now...

vi months into learning to read music and play the mandolin, and this book is very helpful. The songs are fun to perform. I started with "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," which I'm already performing at the beginning of my street-magic act, and I'one thousand determined to learn all the rest of the songs in this collection. The tabliture notations are a large help for reading multiple notes, and the songs themselves are fantabulous learning tools.

This sheet music is great because it includes the words, melody line and chords. I play a number of instruments, and this score makes it easy to adapt the music to other instruments. I'yard merely a beginner, so Im non really certain about the caste of difficulty, but this...

will keep me busy! I honey the songs, and I accept been trying to learn them by ear for so long... its so great to finally know the last couple of bars of the 'Indian War Whoop'! It likewise has some handy tips in the back! I don't sympathise why it was that much cheaper that the guitar/piano scores?
